Data behind the star chart

The star chart on our 404 page uses the HYG database v4.1, which combines Hipparcos, the Yale Bright Star catalog, and Gliese. The data is used under CC BY-SA 4.0.

The constellation figures use the IAU-derived line set from d3-celestial, under the BSD 3-Clause license.
