Every shipping Polaris product is available as a hardware trial, and every trial is fulfilled with your regional partner. How a trial works ## Four steps. No procurement gymnastics. 1 · request**Tell us about your rooms** Share a few details about your organization, how many rooms you’re planning for, and what your teams need from them. If you already work with an integrator, include their details and we’ll involve them from the start. → 2 · ships**Your trial kit ships directly** Your kit arrives free and preconfigured. Connect the pod to a display and your network; Ethernet is the easiest starting point. For Wi-Fi, enter your network name and password in the setup portal. Depending on your network, your IT team may need to open the required ports or allow access to our relay service. Once connected, enter the on-screen key in your browser and start sharing. No software to install. → 3 · decide**Put it to the test** Use Polaris in real meetings with your team, devices and workflows. If it is the right fit, we will connect you with an authorized partner, or work through your existing integrator, to plan and quote the rollout. Trials are partner-fulfilled demand, never a way around the channel. If you buy through an integrator, the trial is theirs to run and theirs to convert. That gives your team time to use Polaris in everyday meetings, board presentations and guest sessions. Test it with your own devices, networks and workflows before deciding whether to roll it out. **What network access does it need?** Connect the pod to a display and your network. Ethernet is the easiest starting point. For Wi-Fi, enter your network name and password in the setup portal. Depending on your network, your IT team may need to open the required ports or allow access to our TURN relay service. The kit includes port requirements and a deployment guide to help you prepare, including for sharing across VLANs or from the internet. Once configured, users can share from a browser without installing software or needing administrator rights. Trial hardware supports the same security controls as production, including 802.1X/EAP-TLS network authentication. **What happens when the trial ends?** If Polaris is the right fit, an authorized partner can arrange the purchase of your trial hardware. Keep it in place and continue using it without reinstalling. If you decide not to proceed, return the kit using the prepaid label provided. We cover return shipping and close the temporary trial cloud environment. **Who handles the trial?** An authorized Mersive partner in your region supplies the trial and can help plan your rollout.
