I’m heading out to Orlando this weekend for the mega InfoComm show.   Mersive has been at this show several years in a row, but I am far more pumped up this year.  You may have noticed that I’ve been fairly quiet on the blog in the last several weeks.  We have been so psyched about the displays our partners are building, I went on road tour to show the displays to folks I know in various industries that I think can make use of them.  Feedback has been great.

We’ve shipped out some amazing stuff to show there, including our Delta joint effort – Solarium WX 3-2 which is 18 feet wide by 10 feet high – Planar’s Clarity MegaPixel Wall and the Immersive Desktop from Immersive Display Solutions.  

We’ll also have some Projection Design F22 projectors that we’ll set up to perform live calibration demos and some previews of the new Sol Windows product that makes building very high-resolution immersive displays even easier.

Jaynes received his doctoral degree at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he worked on camera calibration and aerial image interpretation technologies now in use by the federal government. Jaynes received his BS degree with honors from the School of Computer Science at the University of Utah. In 2004, he founded Mersive and today serves as the company's Chief Technology Officer.
